Consigli Construction is seeking a Certified Payroll Analyst in the Accounting division. The role ensures Davis-Bacon and related payroll compliance across project sites, analyzes subcontractor reports, and maintains documentation to satisfy federal, state, and local requirements.

The position reports to the Certified Payroll Manager, with no supervisory duties, and requires at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus payroll experience. Salary range $71,000–$78,000 and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ year payroll administration; certified payroll experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of accounting principles; construction background preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review legal and certified payroll requirements for each project and aid in SOP implementation.
• Analyze subcontractor payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure timely document submission and compliance.
• Act as liaison with government agencies and internal teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly manhours, workforce, and payroll status.
• Audit subcontractor Certified Payroll Reports for federal, state, and local compliance.
• Investigate discrepancies indicating payroll fraud and escalate with Payroll Manager.
• Document compliance information in the payroll software and coordinate meetings on payroll status.
