Job summary

Richtek is seeking a high-energy Account Manager based in San Jose, CA, to drive revenue growth for power ICs in AI datacenters. You will own the full sales cycle, build deep customer relationships, and translate complex power electronics into clear business value for technical and executive teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in semiconductor sales or related roles, a startup mentality, and strong communication skills to close opportunities from NPI to ramp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business with equivalent technical sales experience.
• 5+ years experience in semiconductor, sales account management, business development or customer-facing account role.
• “Start-Up” mentality: comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and wearing multiple hats to close deals.
• Exceptional communication & persuasion: translate complex technology concepts into clear business value for technical and business audiences.
• Work Ethic: highly self-motivated, organized, and willing to work hard to win in this competitive market.

Responsibilities

• Drive exemplary revenue growth in Bay Area datacenter accounts.
• Execute and grow new revenue generating business opportunities; Set Annual Operating Plan Revenue, drive forecasts, and manage the sales cycle.
• Lead the complete sales cycle from opportunities to production ramp and life cycles.
• Maintain deep knowledge of customer projects, decision-makers, and partners to maximize design-wins.
• Understand customer power architecture to align Richtek’s portfolio with needs.
• Collaborate with internal product teams to align semiconductor roadmap with customer needs.
• Define and execute near- and long-term design-in/win strategies for major datacenter customers.
• Drive and manage global customer interactions aligned with design-win strategy for each opportunity.
• Establish deep, multi-level relationships across engineering, procurement, and executive teams.
• Overcome roadblocks: convert a “no” into a path forward.
