Job summary

Ticketmaster is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support data center operations in Ashburn, VA. You will oversee hardware deployments, firmware management, and monitoring, ensuring high availability for our critical data center devices and services.

You will collaborate with internal service teams, maintain asset information, and lead projects for capacity planning and hardware lifecycle. A strong hardware and Linux background with troubleshooting skills is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Enterprise Data Centers and 7+ years in similar roles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and network layers.
• Familiarity with modern server and networking hardware from Dell/HP/Cisco/Arista.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ability to manage hardware lifecycles and firmware updates.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware deployments and rack elevations with internal teams.
• Maintain asset information in the Data Center Asset Management system.
• Configure ports in collaboration with Data Center and Network teams.
• Lead rack/install projects and decommission old hardware.
• Respond to P0 incidents in a 24/7 environment.
• Maintain hardware monitoring platform and alerting.
• Deploy firmware updates and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor data center environment and capacity planning.
