Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to support server hardware maintenance and repair across our facilities in California.

You will work as part of the Data Center Operations team to keep IT hardware running smoothly and respond to incidents as needed. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware failures, identifying root causes, and repairing or replacing components, plus handling high impact event responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Server Repair – Troubleshooting hardware failures, identifying root causes, and repairing or replacing failing components
• High Impact Event Response – Responding to network failures (e.g., link outages, rackdowns), and high-priority hardware repairs
