MBC in Arlington, VA is seeking a Senior Database Management Analyst to support the U.S. Navy program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment. This role focuses on data analytics, database administration, and security oversight.

The Senior Analyst will travel domestically and internationally, coordinate data calls, prepare briefings, and help drive improvements across the program office with a focus on accuracy and timely information sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field from a US-accredited institution.
• 10+ years of experience providing database support to Navy program offices.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.

We are currently seeking a Senior Database Management Analyst located in the Washington, D.C. area.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Database Management Analyst will provide data analytics support to D PAE Maritime M & S, the U.S. Navy's program office for Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
• Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
• Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
• Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate andcommunicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
• Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation
• Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist inthe preparation and closure of action items
• Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations
• Attend meetings and program reviews, assist withcompiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
• Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professionalcertifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC's clients

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience providing database support to U.S. Navy program offices
• Proficiency using MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field from an institution accredited in the United States
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
