Job summary

City University of New York seeks a Data and Reporting Specialist for the Office of Academic Affairs. The role focuses on building data infrastructure to support Future of Work grants, Workforce Pell, and other workforce development programs at Bronx Community College and across CUNY.

The specialist will create dashboards and reporting tools, train staff, and produce reports on program outcomes, completion metrics, and performance indicators for stakeholders including CUNY Central and funders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four year’s related experience required.
• Experience developing data collection systems and processes, streamlining tracking mechanisms, and training staff.
• Demonstrated ability to develop user-friendly dashboards and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with XenDirect, CUNYfirst, Brightspace and CUNY dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOPs for tracking, collecting, analyzing, and reporting program inputs, outputs, and outcomes using XenDirect.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, data-collection tools, and digital resources for program monitoring and reporting requirements.
• Train program staff on data entry, management, reporting procedures, and system usage for data retrieval.
• Generate and analyze reports for Future of Work, Workforce Pell, and other grant-funded programs and College/CUNY reporting needs.
• Lead data collection and reporting for Workforce Pell and related grants.
• Conduct data analysis and visualization to identify trends and monitor performance.
