Job summary

The City University of New York's Career Advancement and Continuing Education office seeks a Data and Reporting Specialist to build and maintain data infrastructure for Future of Work grants, Workforce Pell, and related programs. You will design dashboards, data-collection tools, and reporting processes for internal and external stakeholders.

This new role emphasizes accuracy, data quality, and collaboration with staff across units, with grant-funded support through June 30, 2028.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four year’s related experience required.
• Experience developing and implementing data collection systems and processes, streamlining tracking mechanisms, and training staff.
• Extensive experience with data analysis and ability to prepare clear, comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Familiarity with CUNY data management and reporting systems including XenDirect, CUNYfirst, Brightspace, and related dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data infrastructure for grant reporting and program outcomes.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data-collection tools for monitoring and reporting requirements.
• Train program staff on data entry, data management, and reporting procedures.
• Generate and analyze reports for Future of Work, Workforce Pell, and other grant-funded programs.
• Lead data collection and reporting related to Workforce Pell and monitor program completion metrics.
• Support labor market research and analysis for department decisions.
