Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Data Transformation & Governance Manager to join GTech, focusing on embedding governance, quality, stewardship, and compliance into data transformation initiatives across acquisitions and analytics.

You will own end-to-end governance for both structured and unstructured data from acquired entities, drive ownership, retention, and approvals, and deliver executive dashboards to show risks, readiness, and value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data governance, transformation, or related roles.
• Experience governing unstructured content alongside structured data.
• Knowledge of retention, legal holds, and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply and extend enterprise data governance frameworks for acquisitions.
• Embed governance into data migration, integration, and analytics.
• Maintain a view of the full data estate across applications and content.
• Advise on content handling during migration and retention.
• Coordinate data ownership and approvals for new uses.
• Produce governance dashboards and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with legal, privacy, risk, and security teams.
