Job summary

LGBT Life Center in Norfolk, VA seeks a Director of Data & Systems to lead data governance, security, and reporting across the organization. This salaried role oversees eClinicalWorks (eCW), SQL databases, dashboards, and regulatory submissions to funders, ensuring data quality and compliant processes.

You will supervise staff, develop SOPs, and partner with program leaders to advance organizational performance through accurate analytics, streamlined workflows, and timely, data-driven decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience in data governance, regulatory reporting, and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Experience with healthcare data systems, dashboards, and data quality initiatives.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and cross-department collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for executives and program leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data governance, quality assurance, security, and lifecycle management across databases.
• Lead eClinicalWorks (eCW) Lead Administrator; ensure configuration, access, reporting, and integrations.
• Maintain client service databases in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Develop SOPs and secure recordkeeping practices; standardize data collection procedures.
• Improve intake, documentation, and tracking systems to reduce duplication and errors.
• Develop dashboards and reports for program, grant, and regulatory needs.
• Coordinate regulatory and funder reporting (RSR, HAB, CoC APR, ESG CAPER, SPM).
• Supervise staff in data entry, reporting, and database management; provide training.
