Job summary

ProMach in Lexington, KY is seeking a Data Steward to ensure quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise data assets. You will bridge business and technical teams to define standards, validate data accuracy, and support governance initiatives.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application teams to ensure data is reliable, well-documented, and aligned with business needs. The role emphasizes data audits, lineage, and metadata management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, master data management, or a related discipline.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data quality assessments to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Validate data across reports, dashboards, databases, and source systems.
• Monitor data quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.
• Reconcile data between ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.
• Assist in executing periodic data audits and validation exercises.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support governance policy development and enforcement.
• Document data lineage, ownership, definitions, and usage guidelines.
• Ensure metadata remains current as systems and reporting requirements evolve.
• Support users in understanding available data assets and business definitions.
• Serve as a trusted resource for data-related questions and definitions.
