Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Data Steward to ensure quality, consistency, and governance of enterprise data assets. This role bridges business stakeholders and technical teams by defining standards, validating accuracy, and supporting governance initiatives.

Key duties include data quality assessments, data validation across reports and sources, and collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and application teams to keep data well-documented and aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business systems, master data management, or related discipline.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data quality assessments to identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and missing information.
• Validate data across reports, dashboards, databases, and source systems.
• Monitor data quality metrics and recommend corrective actions.
• Reconcile data between ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and other enterprise systems.
• Assist in executing periodic data audits and validation exercises.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support the development, documentation, and enforcement of enterprise data governance policies.
• Document data lineage, ownership, definitions, and usage guidelines.
• Ensure metadata remains current as systems, processes, and reporting requirements evolve.
• Support users in understanding available data assets and business definitions.
• Serve as a trusted resource for data-related questions and definitions.
