Job summary

First National Bank of America seeks a Data Security Specialist to advance its data governance and DLP program within Information Security. You will contribute to governance discussions, help build standards, and secure data controls across the organization.

You will collaborate with Microsoft Purview and M365 admins, present governance updates, and drive maturity of DLP processes to meet regulatory requirements including OCC, FFIEC, GLBA, and NACHA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data governance, risk, or compliance.
• Knowledge of OCC, FFIEC, GLBA, and NACHA requirements.
• Understanding of data privacy and security controls.
• Experience identifying CDEs and KDEs; data lineage.
• Strong organization and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend Data Governance Council meetings; prepare agendas and follow-ups.
• Develop standards and retention framework aligned to OCC/FFIEC/GLBA/NACHA.
• Keep governance docs audit-ready across program phases.
• Prepare governance reports, scorecards, dashboards for leadership.
• Investigate, escalate, remediate, and communicate DLP and insider risk incidents.
