Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Data Governance Analyst to support the Global Information Security Data Governance team. You will oversee Data Use Governance from intake through publication, evaluating use cases, identifying data sources and ensuring metadata, lineage, and security controls meet requirements.

The role requires hands-on governance, strong facilitation, and the ability to manage multiple requests with limited oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Risk, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in Data Use Governance, data-sharing governance, data-access governance, or comparable function.
• Experience evaluating business use cases and determining data, sourcing, approval, metadata, control and evidence requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Data Use Governance requests through intake, approvals, publication, tracking and maintenance.
• Evaluate data use requests for governance, security, privacy, regulatory and risk requirements.
• Document business purpose, requirements, users and workflows; ensure governance compliance.
