Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of data governance processes across the sourcing, management, and consumption of critical data assets, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliant controls.

You will guide data policies, data quality initiatives, and master data management, coordinating with stakeholders and governing tools such as Microsoft Purview.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in data governance or data quality management.
• 5–6 years in data governance or quality management with influence on program direction.
• Experience in banking and finance regulatory environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, application and deployment of data policies and processes.
• Ensure data quality guidance is applied through the data lifecycle.
• Oversee design and implementation of governance tools and capabilities.
• Curate operational documentation for governance tools for all users.
• Ensure data assets comply with policies and standards.
• Lead end-to-end data lifecycle management initiatives.
• Translate business rules into data quality rules and implement them.
