AbbVie is seeking a senior leader to drive Clinical Data Strategy and Operations (CDSO) in South San Francisco. You will align cross-functional study teams with program objectives and serve as the operational lead from design through execution of complex trials.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and collaboration across global teams to deliver study milestones while leveraging analytics and PM tools to optimize performance and vendor oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years pharma/clinical research/data management/healthcare experience or 5+ years PM experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical technology; experience in end-to-end trial management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies.
• Lead the CDSO Study Team and act as operational lead from DSS.
• Coordinate DSS study teams to meet objectives and connect global teams.
• Use analytics and PM tools to optimize program execution and track progress.
• Ensure adherence to GCPs, SOPs, and regulatory standards; oversee vendors and mentor staff.
