Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a CDSO Lead or Clinical Data Scientist to serve as the data management domain expert for clinical studies. You will own data collection strategy, drive implementation, ensure data quality, and support on-time milestones across the development lifecycle.

In this role, you will lead data review, manage data flow from EDC to SDTM, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver inspection-ready study results and robust data insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years in pharma/clinical research/data management or 8+ years in project management.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and data management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the CDSO data management lead and single point of contact for assigned studies.
• Own data collection, data cleaning, and database lock strategies for high quality delivery.
• Lead risk-based and continuous data review from start-up through database lock.
• Interpret data, metrics, and dashboards to inform data-driven study decisions.
• Define study data flow and triage issues from raw EDC to mapped SDTM data.
