Job summary

AbbVie in Irvine, CA is seeking a senior operational leader for Clinical Data Strategy and Operations (CDSO) to align study teams with program-level strategies and to serve as the operational lead across DSS study teams.

You will coordinate global cross-functional resources, leverage analytics, and ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, and AbbVie SOPs while mentoring data science professionals and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years pharma/clinical research/data management or 5+ years project management experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial process and clinical technology.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Aligns CDSO study teams with program- and study-level strategies.
• Acts as single point of contact and operational lead for DSS studies.
• Coordinates DSS study teams and connects global cross-functional teams.
• Utilizes operational analytics and project management tools to optimize study execution and report status.
• Ensures adherence to GCPs, ICH guidelines, AbbVie SOPs and quality standards.
• Coaches Data Science Associates; may supervise contract resources.
• Participates in CDSO and cross-functional innovation and process-improvement initiatives.
• Contributes to study execution lessons learned across functions.
