Job summary

NAAM is offering a Data Entry Internship to support the Administrative and Operations Team. A minimum of 10 hours per week with some in-person hours in Lynn, MA provides flexibility to balance other commitments.

The internship offers a $1,000 stipend per semester and opportunities for professional development, networking, and mentorship within immigrant and refugee services. You will gain hands-on experience in data management and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program in social work, public administration, business, or a related field.
• Submission of an updated resume, cover letter, and onboarding steps with NAAM Team.
• Strong interest in serving diverse populations, especially immigrants and refugees.
• Ability to demonstrate a caring, respectful attitude toward clients, staff, volunteers, and interns.
• Commitment to client privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt program components to cultural needs of individuals and families.
• Proficiency in Zoom, Google Docs, Microsoft 365, Salesforce, EHR and Sharepoint.
• Proficiency in Excel is required.
• A few hours in the Lynn Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Salesforce Steering Committee with implementation and training.
• Input data accurately into designated systems and databases.
• Clean, format, and consolidate data for upload.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Steering Committee and NAAM's Salesforce Developer to ensure timely upload.
• Review data for errors or inconsistencies.
• Track NAAM Programmatic data and success stories to support program evaluation and reporting.
• Perform administrative tasks such as basic filing and organizing.
• Interns may be assigned special responsibilities or projects based on qualifications and abilities.
