Job summary

The International Center (Indianapolis) is seeking an undergraduate intern to support the Senior VP of Operations & Chief of Staff and the Office Manager & CRM Administrator. You will work with Neon CRM interfaced with SQL to manage, analyze, and report data, and create data presentations that tell the story of the business.

This internship is designed for current undergraduates; master’s and PhD candidates are considered overqualified.

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate students only; master's or PhD candidates considered overqualified.
  • Experience with CRM data management, reporting, and analytics is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and support a small team in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • CRM administration and data quality control.
  • Document best practices for database use.
  • Develop SOPs for administrative use.
  • Create and report internship program data analytics.
  • Analyze donor records to identify trends.
  • Assist with project management and help desk support.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The selected intern works in direct support of The International Center’s Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff, and the Office Manager & CRM Administrator. This role is involved in the data systems and programs that manage our company’s organizational data. The intern uses data to help the organization identify and bridge customer and organizational gaps. This includes working with Neon CRM, which interfaces with SQL, to manage, analyze, and report data. This role also researches, analyzes, and creates data presentations that tell the story of our business to various constituents. Note: This internship is intended for current undergraduate students; master’s and PhD candidates are considered overqualified.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • CRM administration, data quality control, training
  • Document best practices for database use
  • Develop administrative and user SOP’s
  • Create and report intern program data analytics
  • Analyze donor records to identify trends
  • Manage organizational projects – this “special needs” role and responsibilities will be further defined as project scopes & timelines arise
  • Providehelp desk support

PAY & SCHEDULE
  • $15/hour, plus $80 monthly parking stipend
  • The Center’s office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
  • Interns work an average of 20 hours per week during the fall and spring terms, and an average of 30 hours per week during the summer term
  • Hybrid work possible, based on project needs and availability
