Job summary

Abode Services is seeking a Data Quality Specialist to maintain program data integrity across Alameda County. The role will enter, manage, and review data for inconsistencies in the Padmission database, collaborating with program staff and the Data Team to ensure accuracy and completeness.

You will support centralized data quality efforts, provide user assistance, and help train staff under the supervision of the Database Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Strong Excel skills with data analysis experience using formulas, Pivot tables, Power query, etc.
• Minimum of 1 year providing database reporting and data entry.
• Experience working with HMIS, Salesforce or equivalent data systems.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ customer service experience, in some combination of in person, over the phone and/or online interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage centralized inbox, respond to inquiries and support requests from various system users, including various internal Abode teams as well as staff from partner organizations and funders.
• Provide technical assistance for system users via email, virtually and in-person at Abode office locations.
• Review Padmission for errors and consistency issues; troubleshoot issues with staff and follow up with staff to ensure all data is entered accurately.
• Run change reports from Padmission on a regular basis and work directly with data team to support data quality efforts.
• Support Database Manager with training and other projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
