Job summary

enGen is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to join the Data Protection team. You will implement, maintain, and support data protection infrastructure and DSPM/DLP tools across on-prem and cloud environments.

You’ll work with Microsoft Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, Kubernetes, and scripting languages to build secure, compliant data protection solutions while aligning with industry standards and HIPAA and PCI controls.

Qualifications

• 5 years of DLP experience.
• 5 years in Information Security and systems analysis.
• 5 years deploying and maintaining DLP infrastructure.
• 5 years creating and managing DLP policies.
• 3 years with at least two programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell).
• 3 years cloud architecture with GCP/AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across platforms.
• Configure DLP, DSPM policies and detect data leakage.
• Collaborate on design for on-prem and cloud data protection solutions.
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop automation scripts to improve deployment efficiency.
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance standards.
