Job summary

enGen seeks a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain enterprise data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure). You will work with MS Purview, ForcePoint, BigID, Varonis, and DSPM/DLP solutions, developing automation and security postures in Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Data Loss Prevention
• 5 years of Information Security and Systems Analysis
• 5 years deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software
• 5 years creating and managing DLP policies
• 3 years with 2+ programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell)
• 3 years designing and providing architectural support to cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure)

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain components of the data protection infrastructure across platforms
• Collaborate on design and implementation of data protection solutions
• Configure and maintain data protection policies across platforms
• Troubleshoot and resolve data protection incidents
• Contribute to data protection projects and documentation
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python)
• Collaborate to expand knowledge of data protection technologies
• Stay current with data protection technologies and compliance requirements
