Centuri Group, Inc. seeks a Data Product & Governance Lead to own business definitions, master data, and reusable data products that power reporting, AI models, and analytics across our operating companies.

You will govern master data domains, establish guardrails for data products, drive data stewardship networks, and validate changes to source systems and integrations. This role offers remote work flexibility while aligning with U.S. teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data governance, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Proven track record setting data standards adopted across multiple teams.
• Hands-on governance of master data domains and MDM platforms.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and semantic modeling (e.g., Microsoft Fabric).
• Understanding AI/agent-based data usage and evaluation of AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• - Own canonical business definitions and data models used across master data, semantic models, and reporting.
• - Govern core master data domains and the MDM platform, define matching, survivorship, data quality and publish rules.
• - Lead data stewardship networks across operating companies; define naming conventions and workflows.
• - Define rules and guardrails for data products, automations, and AI agent integrations.
• - Own risk and validation practices for data platforms and AI outputs; ensure trust and accuracy.
• - Curate reusable data products and contracts, ensuring discoverability for humans and AI tooling.
• - Drive adoption of shared data products and standards; measure adoption success.
• - Maintain documentation, lineage, controls, and governance metrics for auditability.
