Job summary

Prestige Staffing seeks a Data Governance Lead to shape enterprise data standards and enable data-driven growth. You will spearhead governance initiatives, data quality, lineage, and metadata management across domains, partnering with analytics and AI teams.

You will translate governance requirements into scalable processes, lead tool evaluations (Snowflake, Azure, GitHub) and mentor cross-functional teams while supporting critical financial analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related areas
• Proven expertise in implementing enterprise data governance solutions, including data quality, lineage, and metadata management
• Strong knowledge of data governance concepts such as data ownership, stewardship, access, and compliance
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, Azure, GitHub, and third-party governance tools
• Excellent leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to translate governance requirements into practical technical and business processes

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing management of data governance tools and solutions
• Maintain and enhance the enterprise data glossary and stewardship practices
• Develop and oversee data quality repositories, rules, and issue resolution processes
• Establish, monitor, and maintain data lineage to promote transparency and traceability
• Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and metrics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support roles and permissions that ensure appropriate data access
• Partner with analytics, AI, and model teams to ensure data foundations support reliable advanced use cases
• Manage third-party data solutions, vendor relationships, and data integration initiatives
