Job summary

Wealth Enhancement Group, LLC is seeking a Director of Data Governance to lead the enterprise data governance program, shape policy, and drive data quality across the organization. The role is remote, reporting to executive governance bodies, and focuses on cross-functional collaboration with business and IT partners.

Responsibilities include program leadership, facilitating governance councils, defining data definitions and lineage, and ensuring regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, data management, or a related field.
• Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in data governance, data management, risk, operations, transformation, or closely related discipline, including 2 years leading enterprise or cross-functional programs and people.
• Experience with Salesforce and Orion is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise change and adoption efforts; familiarity with ADKAR or Prosci preferred.
• Experience presenting to governance boards, committees, or senior executives.
• Experience establishing or advancing a federated data governance operating model strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of data governance tools such as Purview, Collibra, or Informatica.
• Fluency with enterprise reporting platforms, data catalogs, metadata tools, and data-quality platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the enterprise data governance program, including operating model and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead governance discussions with the Data Governance Council and senior leadership to prioritize projects and communicate urgency.
• Partner with data owners, stewards, and custodians to define data definitions, lineage, quality standards, and remediation requirements.
