Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead Alto’s data strategy, architecture, and delivery. You will build and mentor a high‑performing team, shape data pipelines, and define governance across analytics, product, and ML initiatives.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, and other units to scale a modern data stack using Fivetran, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and Looker, while enforcing reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 10+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or related data infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience architecting, operating, and scaling modern cloud-based data platforms, including data ingestion, orchestration, cloud data warehouses, transformation frameworks, and semantic serving layers.
• Strong SQL and programming proficiency (e.g., Python, Scala, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of Alto’s data platform to fuel analytics and ML initiatives.
• Manage and grow a high-performing team of Data Engineers.
• Define data governance, SLAs, observability, and security standards across data pipelines.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Finance, and Enterprise teams to prioritize data initiatives.
• Scale data pipelines and the data stack for real‑world, production usage.
