Job Summary:

The Data Operations Specialist is part of the Engineering team within the Information Technology department. They will be primarily responsible for executing and monitoring mission-critical processes and workflows that enable data and analytical processes at ArchWell Health. This includes database (SQL) processes, report creation and distribution, business process automation, and manual processes in need of automation.

All colleagues on the Engineering team are exposed to and have the opportunity to learn and grow in any technology in our Azure stack, depending on personal objectives and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify and catalog all existing and upcoming process needs
• Verify that all expected processes have been executed according to schedules and quality expectations using available tools (SQL, PowerBI, logging systems)
• Act as level 1 support for troubleshooting and communication for failed processes
• Perform tasks necessary for process success where automation does not yet exist, such as:
• Running PowerBI reports and delivering them to the necessary audience
• Executing SQL queries or stored procedures
• Pulling/pushing files over SFTP
• Identify areas where automation is needed and collaborate with the Engineering team to develop requirements and build automation solutions
• Assist in creating and maintaining relevant documentation

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of SQL and databases
• Proficiency with Microsoft products such as Office, Power BI, and Automate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to communicate and collaborate across departments and levels

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with SQL in work or academic settings
