Job Summary:

The Data Operations Specialist is part of the Engineering team within the Information Technology department. The role involves executing and monitoring mission-critical processes and workflows that enable data and analytical processes at ArchWell Health. This includes managing database (SQL) processes, report creation and distribution, business process automation, and manual processes requiring automation guidance. All team members are encouraged to learn and grow in any technology within our Azure stack, depending on personal objectives and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Identify and catalog all existing and upcoming process needs.
2. Verify that all expected processes have been executed according to schedules and quality expectations using tools like SQL, PowerBI, and other logging systems.
3. Act as level 1 support for troubleshooting and communication for failed processes.
4. Perform manual tasks where automation does not yet exist, such as running PowerBI reports, executing SQL queries, or transferring files over SFTP.
5. Work with the Engineering team to develop requirements and build automation solutions for identified areas needing automation.
6. Assist in creating and maintaining relevant documentation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working and communicating across all departments and levels.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SQL in work or academic settings.
