Job Summary:

The Data Operations Specialist is on the Engineering team in the Information Technology department and will be primarily responsible for execut ing and monitoring mission critical processes and workflows that enable the data and analytical processes at ArchWell Health. Th is includes database (SQL) processes, report creation and distribution , business process automation as well as several manual processes in need of automation guidance.

All colleagues on the Engineering team are exposed to and have the opportunity to lea r n and grow in any technology in our Azure stack , depending on your personal objectives and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Identify and catalog all existing and upcoming process needs
• Using the available tools (SQL, PowerBI, various other logging systems), verify that all expected processes have been executed according to their schedules and quality expectations
• For failed processes, act as level 1 support for troubleshooting and communication
• In areas where automation does not yet exist, p erform needed tasks for process success. This could include:
• Running PowerBI report and delivering it to the necessary audience
• Executing SQL queries or stored procedure
• Pulling/pushing files over SFTP
• Identifying areas where automation needs exist and work ing with the Engineering team to develop requirements and built out the automation
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation relevant to the position
  
  

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of SQL and databases
• Able to get around in Microsoft products such as basic Office as well as Power tools such as BI and Automate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn and grow in a new and fast-paced environment
• Unafraid to work and communicate with colleagues across all departments and levels
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field strongly preferred
• Hands on experience with SQL in work or school setting
