Job Summary:

The Data Operations Specialist is part of the Engineering team within the Information Technology department. The role involves executing and monitoring mission-critical processes and workflows that support data and analytical operations at ArchWell Health. This includes managing database (SQL) processes, report creation and distribution, business process automation, and manual processes requiring automation guidance.

All colleagues on the Engineering team have the opportunity to learn and grow in various technologies within our Azure stack, based on personal objectives and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Identify and catalog existing and upcoming process needs.
2. Use available tools (SQL, PowerBI, logging systems) to verify that processes are executed as scheduled and meet quality standards.
3. Provide Level 1 support for troubleshooting and communicating about failed processes.
4. Perform manual tasks where automation does not exist, such as:

• Running PowerBI reports and delivering them to the appropriate audience.
• Executing SQL queries or stored procedures.
• Transferring files over SFTP.

Identify areas where automation is needed and collaborate with the Engineering team to develop requirements and implement solutions.

Assist in creating and maintaining relevant documentation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to collaborate across departments and levels.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SQL in work or academic settings.
