Job summary

UST is seeking a Data Operations & Platform Support Engineer to manage enterprise data platforms, ticket operations, and compliance initiatives in Virginia. This role emphasizes incident management, data quality, and ensuring system reliability and data integrity.

You will handle ticketing workflows (Jira, ServiceNow), perform data fixes, lead root cause analyses, and support infrastructure migrations and platform upgrades. A BS in CS/IT and 5+ years in data ops are required.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in data operations, production support, or platform engineering.
• Experience with data platforms, pipelines, and incident-driven environments.
• Strong coding and query skills in Java, Python, and SQL; familiarity with APIs.
• Knowledge of privacy, compliance, and governance considerations for data.
