Job summary

UST is seeking an Application Support professional to improve existing systems by analyzing user requirements and procedures. You will work on production issues, coordinate releases, and perform root-cause analysis while engaging cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes incident management, monitoring, and collaboration with SMEs and admins to ensure smooth operation of applications in a hybrid Richmond environment.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve systems.
• Strong background in production issue triage and incident management.
• Familiar with compliance, privacy, and cross-team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot critical production issues and triage with other teams to restore SLA.
• Coordinate emergency releases and perform RCAs; track tickets in SNOW.
• Lead weekend validations, server patching and migrations; present weekly/monthly status.
• Develop/maintain asset tools and ensure maintenance brings systems back online.
• Engage with SMEs, DBAs, Network/Firewall admins and application users for smooth operation.
• Prepare validation documents for maintenance activities and post-maintenance checks.
