Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Director of Data Science to lead the Research & Evaluation data science function. You will drive analytics, predictive modeling, and data infrastructure to inform program decisions and maximize impact.

You will mentor analysts, collaborate across departments, and translate complex insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders, while advancing HCZ’s mission and social impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• Experience leading teams or in senior contributor roles.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL; ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Snowflake) and data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Analytics Cloud or Einstein Analytics.
• Strong data governance, privacy, and ethics in handling sensitive data.
