Job summary

Coconino County is seeking an administrative professional to perform duties with moderate complexity and to manage RMS/JMS systems. The role involves training, reporting, and cross-department liaison to support law enforcement-related operations.

Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and IT savvy. This is an in-person position with potential limited remote work and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Four years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in a law enforcement environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of records management practices and IT systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Training and creating training documentation.
• Oversees RMS and JMS systems and databases.
• Prepares and maintains statistical and administrative reports.
• Creates and distributes confidential documents.
• Liaises with other departments and agencies.
• Attends meetings to represent the department.
• Composes and types correspondences and reports.
• Provides technical support (password resets and light IT support).
• Be on an on-call rotation.
