Job summary

Old Dominion University seeks a Data Integration Specialist to bridge the CRM team, enterprise integration staff, and campus stakeholders. You will lead requirements gathering, documentation, and debugging of data pipelines connecting Banner, Common App, and Axiom Elite, translating business needs into technical solutions that support recruitment, enrollment, and retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Demonstrated experience creating, managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing data integrations and ETL/ELT processes.
Expert-level working experience with Salesforce architecture, data structures, and troubleshooting in Higher Education environments.
Working experience with API architectures (REST, SOAP), web services, and data transformation protocols.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, validation, and debugging across relational databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical staff.
