Job summary

UNC Charlotte seeks a Salesforce Senior Developer to lead advanced design, development, and solution delivery across the University’s Salesforce stack. You will craft scalable solutions for Education Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Tableau Cloud, and integrations including MuleSoft.

You will mentor teams, drive best practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to align with university priorities. A 5+ year background in Salesforce is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IS, or related field.
• Five+ years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, LWC, APIs, and data modeling.
• Experience with Education Cloud or higher education implementations is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Aura/LWR) and MuleSoft is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines like Git, Copado, Gearset.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, tests, and deploys complex Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, Aura, SOQL/SOSL, and related technologies.
• Builds scalable, reusable components ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• Leads development efforts for complex Salesforce initiatives spanning multiple clouds and systems.
• Translates business requirements into technical designs and leverages Flow and Platform Events.
• Ensures secure data exchange and maintains integrations with external systems (e.g., MuleSoft).
• Mentors other developers and contributes to knowledge sharing across the team.
