Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking a Business Analyst, Data Enablement to partner with data stewards and translate business data needs into governance artifacts, definitions, and workflows. The role focuses on governance adoption and catalog completion, not hands-on analytics or BI development.

You will onboard stewards, deliver training, and measure adoption, ensuring data quality and clear ownership across data assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, training, or similar business-facing roles.
• Experience designing or delivering training, workshops, or onboarding for business audiences.
• Stakeholder management experience with multiple business partners.

Responsibilities

• Document business processes and data flows behind recurring issues and present findings.
• Collaborate with stewards to complete catalog entries with owner, source, and defined quality.
• Provide requirements and testing for data governance and quality tooling.
• Prepare council agendas and materials; track actions and escalations.
• Support compliance training including BSA/AML and other programs.
• Note: role emphasizes governance adoption, not data analytics or BI development.
