Job summary

Bank of America seeks a senior Data Governance leader to drive enterprise data strategy and oversee governance across multiple disciplines. You will lead a team, partner with Compliance, Risk, IT, and Audit to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and responsible data stewardship across business areas.

You will translate regulatory requirements into practical data solutions, manage resources, monitor quality metrics, and promote governance best practices across the U.S. organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Data Steward Executive accountability for assigned business areas and drives execution across the lifecycle of data management.
• Leads and develops a team responsible for executing data management and governance activities with clear accountability.
• Partners with Records Management and Data Privacy to align resources and priorities while maintaining functional ownership.
• Sets priorities and manages team capacity based on business needs, risk, and commitments.
• Works with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Technology to execute data management activities and resolve barriers.
• Executes data management requirements by ensuring data processes, controls, inventories, and documentation are defined and maintained.
