Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of data governance processes across sourcing, management, development and consumption of critical data assets. You will ensure data integrity, efficiency and availability with appropriate controls.

You will guide the governance framework, manage policy adherence, and drive continuous data quality improvements across a large organization.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years experience in data governance or quality management, information architecture and governance design and implementation.
• 3–5 years experience in banking and finance industry with focus on operations and regulations.
• Experience influencing overall direction of data governance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, deployment and enforcement of data policies and processes across data lifecycle.
• Oversee design, development and implementation of data governance tools functionalities.
• Curate operational documentation for governance tools for all user levels.
• Ensure all data assets conform to policy and standards.
• Lead end-to-end data lifecycle management efforts.
• Translate business rules into data quality rules and implement in profiling processes.
• Facilitate Data Working Group sessions to document critical data assets and uses.
• Monitor data quality, identify issue patterns and apply remediation plans.
• Develop and maintain program‑level metrics and reporting for governance oversight.
