Job summary

United Community in Greenville, SC seeks a Business Analyst, Data Enablement to translate business data needs into documented requirements and governance artifacts. This business-facing role supports adoption of the data governance program and is not a pure data analyst or BI position.

You will onboard and coach data stewards, develop catalog entries with clear owners and definitions, and measure adoption to enable data-driven decisions. Collaboration with senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in business analysis, operations, training, or similar business-facing roles.
• Experience designing or delivering training for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for data stewards and document requirements, definitions, and quality thresholds.
• Translate requirements into data quality rules and Critical Data Element candidates for governance.
• Onboard and coach data stewards, maintain playbooks, and support governance conversations.
• Track adoption measures and contribute to the data governance scorecard.
• Document business processes and data flows behind recurring issues and present recommendations.
• Prepare council agendas, log actions, and escalate concerns through the defined path.
• Participate in mandatory compliance training and other job-related duties.
