Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of data governance processes across sourcing, management, development, and consumption of critical data assets.

You will manage data flow, ensure data integrity and availability, and enforce technical and administrative controls. The role requires guiding data policies, overseeing tools, and collaborating with business partners to improve data quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MIS/IT or related field.
• 5–6 years in data governance or quality management with influence on governance direction.
• 3–5 years in banking/finance with focus on operations and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, deployment and maintenance of data governance policies and processes.
• Oversee design and implementation of data governance tools and technologies.
• Create operational documentation for governance tools for broad user base.
• Ensure data assets comply with policy and standards.
• Maintain end-to-end data lifecycle management approach.
• Translate business rules into data quality rules and implement in profiling processes.
• Lead root-cause investigations of data quality issues and remediation plans.
• Facilitate Data Working Group sessions to document critical data assets and business rules.
