Qualifications

• Knowledge of data privacy, risk management, compliance, audit, or comparable regulatory experience.
• Experience in data governance, data quality management and risk controls.
• Strong ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive regulated data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Data Steward Executive accountability for assigned business areas and drives data lifecycle activities per enterprise standards.
• Leads and develops a team responsible for data management and governance activities with clear accountability.
• Partners with Records Management and Data Privacy to align resources and priorities for program work.
• Establishes priorities and manages team capacity across data management responsibilities and governance programs.
• Works with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and Technology to execute data management activities and remove barriers.
• Executes data management requirements ensuring processes, risks, controls, inventories and documentation are defined and maintained.
• Ensures data is governed across the full lifecycle including quality, issue management, and remediation of gaps.
• Monitors data quality metrics, identifies risks, and escalates as needed.
• Anticipates data management needs tied to risk and regulatory priorities and develops solutions.
• Leads data management assessments and quality reviews with stakeholder engagement and timely actions.
• Identifies opportunities to improve resource alignment, clarity, and execution across the organization.
• Promotes understanding of enterprise data management requirements through effective communication and leadership routines.
