The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience, plus 2+ years in data governance, metadata, and data quality. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant military experience (U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent) or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational governance concepts, metadata, and data quality management.
• Experience coordinating with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Support enterprise governance initiatives through governance activities and deliverables.
• Create and maintain business metadata, technical metadata, business glossary entries, and data catalog content.
• Document data ownership, stewardship assignments, and data lineage.
• Maintain governance repositories and supporting materials.
• Perform data quality assessments and monitor metrics.
• Collaborate with Data Governance Managers to capture business knowledge and requirements.
• Populate and maintain enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms.
