Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent military experience or 5 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data governance, data management, analytics, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of governance concepts, metadata, and data quality management.
• Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute established data governance processes, policies, standards, and controls.
• Support enterprise governance initiatives through governance activities and deliverables.
• Apply governance methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Create and maintain business/technical metadata, glossary entries, and data catalogs.
• Document data definitions, ownership, stewardship assignments, and data lineage.
• Maintain governance repositories and supporting materials.
• Perform data quality assessments and validation activities.
• Monitor data quality metrics, analyze results, and identify data issues.
• Support root-cause analysis and remediation for data quality challenges.
• Prepare governance documentation and recommendations for review and approval.
• Populate and maintain enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience (US E5 or Canadian PO2/Sergeant) or 5 years experience in lieu
