First Interstate Bank is seeking a Data Governance Manager to oversee data governance policies, drive the enterprise data governance roadmap, and work with business unit managers to implement and report progress to the enterprise data governance council.

This role includes primary administration of the Collibra data governance software and advancing data quality standards, metadata management, and the data stewardship program.

Qualifications

• Familiar with data governance concepts and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret governance policies and standards.
• Experience with enterprise data governance tools and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reports on enterprise data governance KPIs and metrics.
• Assists with enterprise data governance maturity assessments.
• Facilitates development of data quality standards and processes.
• Trains data stewards and develops the data stewardship program.
• Maintains an inventory of enterprise information maps, owners, and stewards.
• Collaborates on building a business glossary, metadata, and data asset library in governance software.
• Designs and expands the Collibra environment.
