Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Data Governance Manager to ensure adherence to data governance policies and oversee the Collibra environment. You will help design the enterprise data governance roadmap, collaborate with business units, and report progress to the governance council.

The role involves developing data quality standards, training data stewards, and maintaining metadata assets. Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of related experience are required, with potential for bonuses based on

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
1-3 years related experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience with data governance and metadata management.
Familiarity with Collibra and the DAMA DMBoK is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develops and reports on enterprise data governance KPIs and metrics.
Assists with enterprise data governance maturity assessments.
Facilitates the development of data quality standards and processes.
Works with data stewards while further developing the data stewardship program.
Develops and maintains an inventory of enterprise information maps, including owners and stewards.
Develops and maintains a business glossary, metadata, and a library of data assets in the governance software.
Designs and expands the Collibra environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
