Job summary

First Interstate Bank seeks a Data Governance Manager to drive governance policies and report progress to the governance council. You will oversee Collibra administration and partner with business units to implement enterprise data governance initiatives.

The role focuses on establishing data quality standards, information maps, a business glossary, metadata, and a comprehensive data assets library, collaborating with data owners and stewards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of related experience is required.
• Experience implementing data governance programs and metrics.
• Ability to work with data stewards and owners across business units.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reports on enterprise data governance KPIs and metrics.
• Assists with enterprise data governance maturity assessments.
• Facilitates the development of data quality standards and processes.
• Trains data stewards and develops the data stewardship program.
• Maintains an inventory of enterprise information maps, including owners and stewards.
• Develops business glossary, metadata, and a library of data assets in the governance software.
• Designs and expands the Collibra environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
