Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Data Governance Manager to oversee policy adherence and drive the enterprise data governance roadmap. The role coordinates with business units and subject-matter experts to implement governance initiatives and reports to the governance council.

The position includes primary administration of the Collibra software and collaboration with data owners and stewards to standardize metadata, data assets, and a company-wide glossary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1-3 years elated experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reports on enterprise data governance KPIs and metrics.
• Assists with performing enterprise data governance maturity assessments.
• Facilitates the development of data quality standards and processes.
• Works with and trains data stewards while further developing the data stewardship program.
• Develops and maintains an inventory of enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners, and stewards.
• Works with data owners and stewards to develop and maintain a business glossary, metadata, and a library of data assets in the enterprise data governance software.
• Designs and implements processes for further expanding the Collibra environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
