Job summary

First Interstate Bank is seeking a Data Governance Manager to ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards across the enterprise. You will help shape the enterprise data governance roadmap and collaborate with business unit managers and subject-matter experts to implement and report progress to the governance council.

You will serve as the primary administrator for the Collibra data governance software, guiding data quality standards, glossaries, metadata, and asset libraries,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1-3 years elated experience, training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and reports on enterprise data governance KPIs and metrics.
• Assists with performing enterprise data governance maturity assessments.
• Facilitates the development of data quality standards and processes.
• Works with and trains data stewards while further developing the data stewardship program.
• Develops and maintains an inventory of enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners, and stewards.
• Works with data owners and stewards to develop and maintain a business glossary, metadata, and a library of data assets in the enterprise data governance software.
• Designs and implements processes for further expanding the Collibra environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
