Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is seeking a Manager of Enterprise Data Governance to lead enterprise-wide governance operations for the Cambia Data Platform. The role focuses on data stewardship, quality, metadata, classification, and semantic layer governance to enable AI-ready data understanding.

You will develop policies, manage a team (FTE and contractors), and collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and business units to advance governance maturity and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years in data governance operations.
• 3+ years of people management leading technical and/or business-facing teams.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise data governance operations for the Cambia Data Platform, covering data stewardship, quality, metadata, classification, and semantic layer governance.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Partner with data domain leaders to advance governance maturity across the enterprise.
• Identify process improvements and establish KPIs for governance operations.
• Directly manage team members (FTE and contractors), including performance evaluations and development.
• Build relationships with IT, Security, Compliance, Privacy, and business units to align governance with objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic plans balancing operations with initiatives, contributing hands-on as needed.
• Oversee data quality, lineage, and metadata management to produce trusted data assets.
